Best Books For Children In These Strange Times - National Book Lovers Day

It is National Book Lovers Day!

Literacy has been an absolute fundamental part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in my younger years we didn't have a ton but my mother always took us to the library. A library card was free and could take us on any adventure we desired. My mom said you "could go anywhere in a book, you could be anyone."

Over the years making time for reading has been influx for myself personally, but my priority has always been reading to my children. We vary the books between adventures, dramas, comedic reads and such. When I came across this book set though, I knew I had to get it.

The Tuttle Twins

These easy reads are a great introduction to some complex but important topics that are even more necessary to discuss with kids these days than ever before.

Socialism, free market enterprise, property rights, and the Golden Rule are all described in easy to relate situations kids can process and apply to their own lives.

Seeing my kids take in the stories, think through the concepts, and then ask questions has been an incredible experience. They have begun to understand high level "adult" concepts and know they can have a voice when they hear things on the news, from media sources, or even just people they encounter.

I highly recommend these books for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and all those who wish to teach kids things they don't learn in school but need to understand to make informed decisions in life and preserve the way of life we as Americans know and love.

Most poignant perhaps are the topics of persuasion vs. coercion and truth overpowering fear.

Pick up a set of these amazing books HERE today!
