Healthy Green Juice Recipes That Are Easy to Make and Delicious

People are often scared of "green juices" simply because they look strange and they're afraid they will taste disgusting. However, that simply isn't true. 

Green juices can be absolutely delicious and aren't that difficult to make. Do yourself a favor and try a green juice this year, you might just love it.

  • 1 medium celery stalk
  • 6 slices of ginger
  • 2/3 of a medium green apple
  • 4 ½ cups of spinach
  • ¼ of a lemon
  • 2/3 cups of chopped parsley

Instructions:

  • Quarter the lemon (leaving skin on) and place directly into the press. If you don't have a juice press, peel the lemon and juice with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Add the celery, ginger, apple, spinach, and parsley to the juice press and extract the juice.

  • Keep the stems on the leafy greens to extract more flavor and juice.
  • For organic apples, avoid peeling the skin as it contains a high amount of antioxidants.
  • If you want a milder flavor, peel the lemon. For a stronger or fuller-bodied juice, grind with the peel still on.
  • To make the juice sweeter, add more apple or even add a little pear to the recipe.
